GREEN-LOG at the 12th Symposium of the European Association for Research in Transportation (hEART 2024)

hEART 2024

GREEN-LOG, repesented by its project partner Aimsun, is proud to annouce its participation in the 12th Symposium of the European Association for Research in Transportation (hEART), taking place on 18-10 June in Finland. The aim of hEART is to provide a platform for scientific discussion and collaboration by bringing together leading experts and talented young scholars.

In the presentation titled “Sustainable last-mile logistics: a joint optimization-simulation framework for multi-purpose cargo-bike fleet scheduling” included in the context of the SimMobility & Aimsun workshop, Mr Lampros Yfantis (Aimsun) elaborates on the collaborative work that has been and is currently being conducted within the Horizon Europe GREEN-LOG project by the Athens University of Economics and Business and Aimsun. Early results from an application for the city Oxford, UK ans well as the future steps are also presented.

GREEN-LOG at the Urban Logistics Innovation Day 2024

GREEN-LOG was represented by our partners POLIS and University of Antwerp (UoA) at the Urban Logistics Innovation Days 2024 in Brussels. Dr Joris Beckers (UoA) presented on the topic of the Data for Urban Freight Policy highlighting the work implemented in GREEN-LOG.

Following the first successful edition held in 2023, the second edition of the Urban Logistics Innovation Day – co-organized again by POLIS and ALICE – took place on June 4th 2024 in Brussels, at ACE Events (Avenue d’Auderghem 22, 1040 Bruxelles).
