GREEN-LOG participated at the 9th International Physical Internet Conference (IPIC 2023) taking place on June 13-15, 2023, in Athens, Greece.
The project was represented by its coordinator, Netcompany-Intrasoft, and delivered a presentation about the project and the particular developments linked to interconnected green delivery solutions (prepared jointly by Netcompany-Intrasoft and the University of Antwerp). The event provided also an opportunity for the 3 “sister” projects, GREEN-LOG, DECARBOMILE and URBANE, to physically meet and discuss some potential routes of cooperation.
The International Physical Internet Conference aims to provide an open forum for researchers, industry representatives, government officials and citizens to together explore, discuss, introduce leading edge concepts, methodologies, recent projects, technological advancements, start-up initiatives, for current and future Physical Internet implementation.
Conference topics include Logistics Nodes, Logistics Networks, System of Logistic Networks, Access and Adoption, Governance. New business models, enabling technologies and experimentations already underway will be presented, making this meeting a unique opportunity to learn, network and discuss the latest results and challenges about interconnected logistics.
