GREEN-LOG showcases LaaS Marketplace and Digital Control Tower at GRETA workshop

On 11 July 2025, GREEN-LOG took part in the GRETA project’s workshop dedicated to fostering synergies among projects working on enabling technologies for collaborative logistics towards greener urban freight.

During the event, the GREEN-LOG team presented two of its flagship innovations: the Logistics-as-a-Service (LaaS) Marketplace and the Digital Control Tower (DCT).

The LaaS Marketplace is a data-driven platform that facilitates the efficient matching of logistics supply and demand. It incorporates a dynamic pricing module and the RIDEAL nudging service, aiming to address common inefficiencies, lack of collaboration, and sustainability challenges in traditional logistics systems. The platform offers users dynamic access to logistics services tailored to their needs in urban settings.

The Digital Control Tower (DCT) is a centralised, data-driven platform designed to improve situational awarenesscoordination, and decision-making in last-mile delivery operations. It combines real-time data, advanced analytics, and collaborative tools to support more efficient and environmentally responsible logistics practices.

The workshop audience expressed strong interest in both tools, raising insightful questions that were addressed by our team. GREEN-LOG is now preparing for the second round of demonstrations, where enhanced functionalities of the LaaS Marketplace will be tested, user experience will be further improved, and various policy options will be explored through dynamic pricing and nudging models.

We warmly thank the GRETA project for the invitation and excellent organisation of the workshop, as well as our presenters from GREEN-LOG: Amalia Bozinaki and Konstantinos Barbopoulos (Frontier Innovations) and Alexandros Karalis (Netcompany S.A.).
