GREEN-LOG Athens Living Lab Stakeholder Event successfully held in Athens

GREEN-LOG Athens Living Lab Stakeholder Event was successfully held on 5 June 2026 at Technopolis Athens, bringing together key stakeholders from academia, industry, public authorities, and European initiatives.

The event focused on collaborative approaches to last-mile delivery in urban environments, showcasing the experience and results of the Athens Living Lab within the GREEN-LOG project. The Athens Living Lab, led by ACS in collaboration with FedEx and the City of Athens (DAEM), and supported by AUEB (ELTRUN), the University of the Aegean, Netcompany S.A., Frontier Innovations, Aimsun, MOSAIC Factor, and MobyX, highlighted innovative solutions and practical insights for sustainable urban logistics.

Discussions addressed key challenges and opportunities in city logistics, with particular emphasis on public–private collaboration, the role of digital tools, and the development of infrastructure supporting more efficient and environmentally friendly last-mile delivery.

The programme featured presentations on the GREEN-LOG project and the Athens Living Lab, as well as two panel discussions exploring both the future of last-mile logistics and the transition from European pilot actions to real-world implementation in the city of Athens. Contributions from related EU projects, including ACUMEN and TRACE, further enriched the exchange of knowledge and strengthened synergies.

The strong participation and engagement of stakeholders confirmed the relevance of the project’s outcomes and highlighted the potential for scaling up innovative and sustainable urban logistics solutions in Athens and beyond.
