GREEN-LOG had a strong presence at the ITS European Congress 2025 — a key event that brought together stakeholders from across Europe and beyond to explore cutting-edge solutions for clean, resilient, and smart mobility. The Congress took place from 19 to 21 May in Seville.
Together with our fellow Sustainable Last-Mile Logistics Cluster projects — DECARBOMILE and URBANE — we co-hosted Special Interest Session SIS 22: Collaborative Solutions for Sustainable Last-Mile Logistics, held on Tuesday 20 May. This interactive session explored key challenges faced by cities, courier companies, and other logistics stakeholders — and showcased how innovative last-mile delivery solutions are helping to address them. GREEN-LOG was represented on the panel by Mr. Babis Magoutas from Frontier Innovations.
Speakers from the three Cluster projects shared cutting-edge concepts and real-life examples from Living Labs across Europe, demonstrating how adaptable and scalable approaches can support the transition to zero-emission urban logistics systems.
What’s needed to move forward?
🔹 Long-term partnerships beyond pilots
🔹 Regulatory flexibility to support innovation
🔹 Investment in interoperable digital infrastructure
🔹 Co-creation at the heart of urban logistics strategies
Beyond the session, GREEN-LOG was also featured at the Netcompany’s booth in the exhibition area — creating opportunities for engaging discussions and networking with experts in mobility, technology, policy, and research.
The Congress was a valuable opportunity to spotlight the work of the GREEN-LOG consortium, connect with the broader transport innovation community, and further strengthen collaboration within the Sustainable Last-Mile Logistics Cluster — helping to drive the shift toward greener, smarter urban logistics across Europe and beyond.
