In a series of dynamic and collaborative workshops, the EU-funded GREEN-LOG project has made significant strides in its path to redefine last-mile logistics across Europe. The Annual POLIS Conference is Europe’s leading sustainable urban mobility event, providing an opportunity for cities and regions to engage in unique plenaries, thought-provoking sessions and interesting site visits and showcase their transport achievements to a large audience of mobility experts, practitioners, and decision-makers from both the public and private sectors from the EU and beyond. GREEN-LOG will offer Logistics-as-a Service platforms for interconnected city logistics, automated delivery concepts using autonomous vehicles and delivery droids, cargo-bike-based innovations for sustainable micro-consolidation, and multimodal parcel deliveries integrating public transportation. The solutions will be supported by networked city logistics dataspaces that supply dynamic services for proactive ecosystem optimisation while respecting the interests of stakeholders including consumers, businesses, and the city.
